OVERVIEW
We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will provide essential care that our residents so much deserve. You will need to establish and maintain an atmosphere of care and support for residents, visitors, staff, and peers, demonstrating on a consistent basis the behaviors which comprise the basic of service excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide resident care by meeting identified physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
- Help with meal preparation and snack distribution.
- Administer medications in compliance with appropriate certification.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work with the elderly
- Must be able to lift with assistance
- Experience in senior care
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and resident rights
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Certification in CPR and basic first aid is a plus
